2016 — established in Copenhagen, Denmark by Simon Sundboell, an industry veteran. Funded by private investors.

2017 — the first version of the eeSea platform is launched, mapping the basic layers of the industry and aggregating it into strategic industry insights.

2018 - the Vessel Forecasts module is launched in co-operation with several customers. Additional venture capital raised.

2019 - the Schedule Reliability module is launched.

2020 - what a year ! As the Corona pandemic almost grinds the world to a halt, the eeSea Trade Lane Dashboard tracks blank sailings and is featured in FT, The Loadstar and FreightWaves, amongst others.
